Because PURE uses extracts and herbal ingredients that contain naturally occurring lead from the soil, the State of California requires a standard warning notice for shipments going to this state. In compliance with California’s Prop 65 regulations, PURE encloses the required warning notice in all products shipped to California, even though it’s known that our products are safe and that the levels of lead are well below those known to cause any harmful effects to consumers.
