What order do I use the five steps in?

Cleanser, toner, mask, emulsion, cream — steps 1 through 5, in that order. The cleanser and toner are used morning and evening; the mask is a treatment step; the emulsion goes on before the cream, and the cream is the final, richest layer.

What is an emulsion, and how is it different from a cream?

The emulsion is a lightweight balancing lotion — step 4. It seals in moisture, nourishes the skin barrier and helps keep the skin's pH in balance. The cream is step 5, the richer final layer: a non-greasy cream full of plant-based nutrients that deeply nourish skin for elasticity and smoothness. The emulsion goes on first; the cream goes on after it.

The Starter Set is four of the five steps: the C'ENCIA PURE Foam Cleanser (5.07 fl. oz. / 150 mL), PURE Toner (4.05 fl. oz. / 120 mL), PURE Emulsion (4.05 fl. oz. / 120 mL) and PURE Cream (1.69 fl. oz. / 50 mL). The PURE Mask is not included in the Starter Set and is sold separately.
