What is the expiration date of your products?
There are many factors that play into how long a product lasts, including proper handling and storage. We recommend storing products in a cool, dry place unless otherwise specified after opening it. Depending upon the individual product, it may display a BB (best by), an MFG (date product was manufactured), or an EXP (expiration) date. In general, encapsulated products are best when consumed within 3 years from date of manufacture. Liquid Cleanse lasts up to five years after date of manufacture. Daily Build liquid last up to one year unless opened. In most instances if a product has been properly stored and has not been opened beyond the recommended date, it would okay to consume, but we cannot guarantee potency of the product beyond these listed dates.

Once opened, Superfruits should be refrigerated and consumed within 30 days. This is the furthest date we still guarantee them to be safe and effective. CalciuMK+, once opened, consume within 30 days and Daily build Liquid consume within 45 days.

Some of the products in the GPS line have 15 servings like GPS Circulate and GPS Rebuild and others have 30 servings like GPS Energize, GPS Hydrate and GPS Adapt. This is simply for the convenience of packaging.

The instructions for Cleanse say to take 7-10 days per month. Why?
Cleanse contains cascara sagrada, which is very efficient at stimulating movements of the gut; however, it may cause mild abdominal discomfort and/or cramps. Due to this ingredient's strength, it is not recommended for use beyond 10 days. It is important not to become dependent upon its effects. Instead of daily use, focus on adequate water and fiber intake and regular physical activity.  You can take Daily Detox when not taking Cleanse as it uses milder ingredients like slippery elm, which supports healthy elimination. Daily Detox can be taken either with Cleanse or alone for daily cleansing.

Can I take too much Mila?
Mila is food, and as with any food, you can overdo it. Start with ½ a serving (1 Tablespoon) work up to an amount comfortable for you. Some people take as much as four servings per day. Others may experience constipation or mild intestinal discomfort because of Mila’s high fiber content. If this is the case, start with a reduced serving size (1 to 2 teaspoons) and increase the amount over time to allow your body to adjust. Some find it helpful to hydrate by soaking it in 4 oz. water for 10 minutes before consuming. Be sure to drink ample water (8 to 10 glasses daily) when consuming Mila.

As noted in the cautionary statement on almost all PURE products, “If you are pregnant or nursing…consult a physician prior to using this product.” As a general rule, foods (products labelled with a Nutrition Facts panel instead of a Supplement Facts panel) are generally safe to consume while pregnant or nursing. Foods will include ingredients, which are categorized as generally recognized as being safe (GRAS). This is a general rule, but may not apply to everyone. These products include Mila, Vegan shake and the Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry Nutrition Shakes. An opinion statement made by The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, states “Moderate caffeine consumption (less than 200mg per day) does not appear to be a major contributing factor in miscarriage or preterm birth. The relationship of caffeine and growth restriction remains undetermined. A final conclusion cannot be made at this time as to whether or not there is a correlation between high caffeine intake and miscarriage.” PURE recommends consulting with a physician or other licensed medical professional and to follow their advice when determining which PURE products can be safely used when pregnant or nursing.

We recommend following usage statements listed on the PURE product labels. If a product can be used by children, this information including how much should be used is available within the recommended usage statement. Products, which can be used by children include Mila, Probiotic, GPS Hydrate, GPS Energize, Daily Build, and GoYin. The product usage statements will also include restrictions of their use, if suggested. Another good general rule is whether or not the product uses a Nutrition Facts label or a Supplement Facts label. What is the difference between Daily Detox and Cleanse?
The body consists of various systems and organs, which deal with and eliminate toxins from the body. While the biochemical mechanisms of how these work together are complex, detoxification can be summarized into three phases. In phase I the body takes both internal and external toxins and makes them more soluble. In Phase II of this process, toxins are made water-soluble, so they can be eliminated from the body. Phase III is elimination and in this state of the process toxins are finally excreted from the body. The Cleanse product (liquid and capsule) contain ingredients, which are known to traditionally support the 7 channels of elimination. Yes, GPS Reset can be consumed any time during the day.  The major ingredient in GPS Reset is 棺-Hydroxy 棺-Methylbutyrate (HMB) that reduces the rate of muscle protein breakdown.  Another major ingredient is L-Arginine that dilates blood vessels for better circulation and absorption of nutrients. We recommend using it prior to bed, because its ingredient supports the body_ ability to create certain hormones like HGH (human growth hormone).
